Here you can find SmartStream setup information for your chosen device and also which services you can access whilst using SmartStream.
You can use the Table of Contents on the right hand side of this window to navigate between the different sections.
Step 1
Choose the closest SmartStream DNS server to your current location using the below list, you will need this later.
Step 2
Retrieve your VPN username and password, if you are a new member this is contained in the StreamVia Account Information email you received after ordering.

Click Start and then click Control Panel

Click View network status and tasks
Step 5
Click Manage network connections
Step 6
Select the Network Adapter that you use to connect to the Internet, if you are using a wireless connection it will likely be called Wireless Network Connection or for a cabled connection Local Area Connection

Right click on the Network Adapter that you use to connect to the Internet, then click Properties

Disable Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)

Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) so it is highlighted, then click Properties

Select Use the following DNS server addresses, enter the SmartStream DNS server you selected in Step 1. Make sure there are no typing mistakes and do not change anything else! Click OK.

Use the below link to sign in to SmartStream using your VPN username and password, this will activate SmartStream for your current broadband IP address.
Should your broadband connection IP address change (if your router restarts or your ISP resets your connection) you will need to repeat this step of signing in, to update our systems.

Reboot/restart your computer

Clear browser cache/history/cookies if required, then simply open the website you wish to unlock

Click Start and then click Control Panel

Enable Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)

Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) so it is highlighted, then click Properties

Select Use the following DNS server addresses, enter 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 in the boxes, make sure there are no typing mistakes and do not change anything else! Or, change to Obtain DNS server address automatically which will use your router. Click OK.

Click Close

Reboot/restart your computer

Clear browser cache/history/cookies if required.
