Here you can find SmartStream setup information for your chosen device and also which services you can access whilst using SmartStream.
You can use the Table of Contents on the right hand side of this window to navigate between the different sections.
The steps immediately below are for when your device is using a WIRELESS connection.
Scroll down if you need the CABLED/ETHERNET Guide.
Step 1
Choose the closest SmartStream DNS servers to your current location using the below list, you will need this later.
Step 2
Retrieve your VPN username and password, if you are a new member this is contained in the StreamVia Account Information email you received after ordering.
Step 3
Click the Apple logo in the top-left hand corner of your screen, and select System Settings…
Step 4
Click Wi-Fi from the menu on the left-hand side, then click on Details in the main window
Step 5
Click DNS from the menu on the left-hand side, then click on + in the main window
Step 6
Enter the first SmartStream DNS server that you chose in Step 1 of this guide.
N.B. x.x.x.x is NOT a valid DNS server, make sure there are no typing mistakes!
Then click on the + to add the second.
Step 7
Enter the second SmartStream DNS server that you chose in Step 1 of this guide.
N.B. x.x.x.x and y.y.y.y are NOT valid DNS servers, make sure there are no typing mistakes!
Then click OK
Only the SmartStream DNS servers should be listed, if you have other entries use the minus (-) button to remove them.
Step 8
Use the below link to sign in to SmartStream using your VPN username and password, this will activate SmartStream for your current broadband IP address.
Should your broadband connection IP address change (if your router restarts or your ISP resets your connection) you will need to repeat this step of signing in, to update our systems.

Reboot/restart your computer

Clear browser cache/history/cookies if required, then simply open the website you wish to unlock

Then click on - (minus) in the main window to remove the SmartStream DNS servers that you added.
Repeat until they are all removed. Then click OK
